Senior Product Designer, Automations

Job Description

Jobber is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Automations team. This role is remote-first and can be based in Canada or the United States. The Senior Product Designer will be a design leader, empowering small businesses to get more done, better manage their clients, and get paid faster, while considering how AI can play a role in their work. They will influence and shape the overall design strategy and customer experience, crafting intelligent automation solutions to address customer challenges.

• Contributing to and leading UX strategy
• Understanding users through research
• Shaping scalable automation patterns
• Setting a design vision
• Leveraging AI for personalized experiences
• Ensuring high-quality user experience
• Mentoring other designers

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• 3-5 years of experience in web or mobile SaaS product design, preferably in automation, AI, or workflow management
• Experience leading qualitative and quantitative research
• Strategic thinking and ability to navigate ambiguity
• Mastery of design tools (Figma, Figjam, ChatGPT)
• Expert visual and interaction design skills
• Understanding of web and mobile design constraints and opportunities
• Experience leveraging LLM or other AI-based technologies
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
