Job Description
Tenable is seeking a Senior Director of Sales to lead a regional sales team. The role involves developing and implementing annual plans to achieve revenue and margin targets. The Senior Director will manage a team, interface with customers, and work with channel partners to generate new business opportunities. They will also lead negotiations for large complex deals and collaborate with various internal teams to optimize sales performance.

Role Involves:
  • Recruiting, hiring, developing, and managing a tiered sales team.
  • Managing pipeline development and forecasts.
  • Interfacing with customers and channel partners.
  • Developing go-to-market plans.
  • Leading negotiations for large complex deals.
  • Collaborating with Sales Engineering, Channel, finance, legal, R&D, and marketing.
  • Direct sales responsibility for accounts in the region.
  • Developing recommendations for growth and key target accounts.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Tenable’s products.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Director-level management experience.
  • 6+ years’ experience selling Security Products.
  • Strong knowledge of selling multi-product software solutions.
  • 8+ years in quota carrying sales role with demonstrated success.
  • Extensive experience negotiating large complex deals.
  • Proven track record working with channel and technology partners.
  • History of coordination within multi-functional teams.
