Job Description
Bottomline is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Development team, working on Payments and Financial Document Automation SaaS solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely within the UK. The Senior Software Engineer will provide technical leadership, develop new features, maintain existing modules, and drive initiatives from design to delivery within an agile scrum team.
Role involves:
- Designing and developing high-quality features and enhancements.
- Assisting in estimation and planning of future work.
- Creating automated unit and integration tests.
- Leading best practices and new technologies.
- Participating in release testing.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Providing maintenance support and assisting support teams.
- Continuously updating technical expertise and mentoring junior team members.
- Investigating new technologies and proposing ideas.
- Writing prototypes to explore ideas and gain feedback.
- Demonstrating new product functionality.
- Recording activity and re-estimating work on project tasks.
Requirements:
- C# .Net 6.0/Framework/Standard
- RDBMS (MSSQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL)
- Development of customer-facing RESTful APIs using security best practices
- Unit test development (NUnit/xUnit/Moq)
- 2+ years of experience
