Associate Director of Portfolio Strategy

Job Description

Dr. Squatch is seeking an Associate Director of Portfolio/Product Strategy to drive new product development and category expansion. This role involves identifying opportunities, building strategies, and overseeing execution to steer the business's direction. The Associate Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product decisions, balancing data with intuition.

• Own overall performance of categories
• Analyze product performance and customer behavior
• Partner with cross-functional teams
• Build out a backlog of potential initiatives
• Identify new product categories with the highest potential
• Translate data into a winning value proposition

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 5+ years of professional work experience with 3+ years in consumer or business strategy
• Scrappy problem-solver with a strong sense of urgency
• Entrepreneurial mindset excited to take ownership
• Highly analytical and strategic thinker
• Great at building relationships across functions
• Experience managing cross-functional teams
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Excited to be working with, testing and using natural personal care products
• Interest in health and wellness
