iFood is seeking a skilled ML Platform Engineer to join their team. The role involves working within a diverse environment, focusing on continuous learning and striving for excellence. The engineer will collaborate to solve complex challenges and contribute to building something incredible.
The ML Platform Engineer will be part of an engineering squad, continuously evolving iFood's ML Platform, with a focus on data-intensive systems and distributed architectures. They will work on platform projects, ML Systems operations, and performance optimization to ensure team results. Collaboration with Platform Engineering and Machine Learning specialists will be key to the technical construction of solutions. The engineer will also work with product managers to prioritize projects and address the needs of teams and users, as well as collaborate closely with data scientists and ML developers.
Responsibilities:
- Evolving iFood's ML Platform.
- Working on platform projects and ML Systems operations.
- Optimizing performance.
- Collaborating with specialists and product managers.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing and Infrastructure.
- Experience with microservices development and data-intensive systems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and development workflows.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning Engineering.
- Experience with platform construction/maintenance.
- Experience with software engineering.
- Experience with Apache Spark/Pyspark, Scala.
- Experience with non-relational databases.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with GoLang.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools.
- Intermediate or Advanced English.
