Job Description
Eventbrite is seeking a Retention Account Manager to manage accounts, achieve sales targets, generate new business opportunities, and foster long-term relationships. The Account Management Team operates at high velocity outreach, engaging with creators at the right commercial moments throughout their customer journey. This team is responsible for understanding event creators’ business trends in order to identify opportunities for mutual growth.

The role involves:
  • Building and maintaining valued relationships with customers.
  • Articulating and positioning the value Eventbrite drives for customers.
  • Managing all renewal, contract negotiation, and commercial activities for customers.
  • Identifying upsell opportunities within the existing account base.
  • Identifying new business opportunities through referrals.
  • Delivering feedback to leadership teams and participating in process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3+ years experience in a Sales or Customer Success/Account Management role.
  • Experience in analyzing customer behavior and developing targeted retention strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead negotiation processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer renewals and upsells with a SaaS product.
  • Strong organization skills and superb capabilities with managing a large volume of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a resourceful problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience using CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Applications (Analytics, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
