SaaS Business Analyst

Vertice, a company focused on SaaS and cloud spend management, is seeking a SaaS Business Analyst to join their team in Johannesburg. The Business Analyst will support the Customer Success and Procurement teams by providing insights into customer spend, identifying savings opportunities, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The role involves using internal tooling to build dynamic dashboards and automations, with opportunities to enhance technical skills in Python and SQL, as well as using LLMs.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting Customer Success and Procurement teams with customer spend insights.
• Presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Building dynamic dashboards and automations using internal tooling.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, professional services, or business analytics.
• Strong experience manipulating data with Excel and presenting insights in PowerPoint.
• Comfortable with moderately complex concepts and confident in presenting insights.
• Demonstrable success in cross-functional collaboration and adaptability.
• Education in quantitative fields, business, or economics preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience recommending process improvements.
• Experience with Python or SQL and dashboard design is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
