Caylent is seeking a Senior Director of Cloud Architecture and Engineering to lead its Cloud Engineering practice. This role involves defining the technical vision, establishing best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of cloud solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS technologies and strong business acumen.Caylent is a cloud native services company that helps organizations bring the best out of their people and technology using Amazon Web Services (AWS).Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the strategic vision for the Cloud Engineering Practice.
• Establish and promote industry-leading methodologies and architectures for cloud-native solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of 200+ cloud engineers, architects, and consultants.
• Oversee the successful execution of cloud engagements.
• Strengthen collaboration with AWS.
• Support pre-sales efforts and drive revenue growth.
• Drive innovation and represent the company at industry events.
• Drive the development and implementation of AI-powered cloud solutions.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or software development.
• 5+ years in a leadership role at a professional services company.
• Proven experience leading and scaling a cloud engineering practice.
• Deep expertise in AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
• Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud security.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with enterprise clients across various industries.
