Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Sales Strategy & Operations Division Lead to join their Business Development team. This role involves driving insights, operations, and strategy to enable Sales to run efficiently. The Division Lead will lead cross-functional initiatives, improve workflows, build analytical assets, and connect the Business Development team to the rest of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Business Development leadership to build a high-efficiency pipeline generation machine.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to improve the sales motion.
  • Identify and improve pain points in the business development motion and workflows.
  • Develop analytical tools to help the Business Development team generate quality pipeline.
  • Drive a planning process to understand ROI and plan the business to drive high-conversion pipeline.
  • Relay insights from the Business Development team to other parts of the organization.

Requirements:
  • High-impact self-starter with initiative and ability to operate with little guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills, including Excel proficiency (SQL / Tableau / Looker a plus).
  • Process and operational thinking with the ability to iterate to a solution and document it.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and hustle to manage change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in consulting, banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a startup.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from a top school preferred.
  • Previous Sales, Sales Operations, or Strategy experience is a plus.
