Job Description
Clutch, Canada’s largest online used car retailer, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their growing team. The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing Clutch's analytics data stack. This role involves collaborating with various teams to define key metrics, improve reporting, and enable self-serve analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, SQL, and cloud data warehouses.

- Owning and evolving core data models and pipelines.
- Applying best practices for data testing and observability.
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Contributing to data documentation and governance practices.
- Mentoring others on data modeling and tooling.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or data engineering.
- Strong SQL expertise.
- Hands-on experience building data models with dbt.
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
- Experience building semantic layers and enabling self-serve BI.
- Proactive communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Familiarity with Python and orchestration tools is a plus.
