Software Engineer, Deployment & Observability

Job Description

Notion is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Deployment & Observability Infra Team. This team is responsible for building the platform that ensures the reliable deployment of Notion. The ideal candidate will contribute to projects that enhance deployment reliability and improve observability.Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance deploy automation.
• Develop observability solutions.
• Optimize deployment pipelines.
• Create developer tooling.
• Improve incident response.
• Collaborate across teams.

Requirements:

• Strong infrastructure knowledge.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Communication skills.
• Interest in learning how things work.
• Pragmatic and business-oriented.
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• AWS ECS experience.
• Familiarity with Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS).
• Having familiarity with gradual rollout systems.
• Experience with canary deployments.
