Job Description
GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to develop and execute a data-driven lifecycle communications strategy for self-service users. This role involves collaborating with SMB Sales, Product Growth, Marketing Ops, and Data teams to create impactful communications that engage users and guide them through the buyer lifecycle. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will leverage data-driven insights to develop personalized journeys that increase conversion rates, drive product adoption, and accelerate revenue growth.

Role involves:
  • Designing and implementing automated campaign journeys with personalized content.
  • Developing onboarding and activation strategies to accelerate time-to-value.
  • Orchestrating end-to-end email marketing campaigns.
  • Fostering partnerships with SMB sales, Product Growth, Marketing Ops, and Data teams.
  • Using data-driven insights to review and refine campaigns.
  • Acting as an email marketing SME.

Requirements:
  • 3-4+ years of experience in email marketing at a B2B SaaS technology company.
  • Proven track record of creating and executing lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in Marketo or Iterable for marketing automation.
  • Strong internal communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design.
