Job Description

OpenEye is seeking a Support & RMA Technician to join their team at their Liberty Lake, WA headquarters. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who enjoys interacting with people and working in a team-based collaborative environment. This role involves providing technical support to customers and repairing and testing OpenEye product returns.

Role involves:

  • Repair and test OpenEye products sent in for repair and credit.
  • Communicate with the RMA Manager about work assignments.
  • Support all OpenEye products as well as secondary software and products via phone and email.
  • Troubleshoot network communications, software/hardware, user processes, and mechanical operations.
  • Provide friendly and professional service, demonstrating OpenEye’s core value of Heroic Customer Service.
  • Assist in creating knowledge base articles to enhance customer self-support.
  • Learn about innovative technologies and take on additional responsibilities as the organization grows.
  • Perform all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in customer service, troubleshooting, or repairing DVR and CCTV equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of basic inter-networking operations and protocols (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the security industry, including cameras, DVRs, sensors, and relays (preferred).
  • Understanding of electrical wiring and proper grounding (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Linux OS (preferred).
