Job Description

The Pokémon Company International is seeking an Associate Project Manager to facilitate the localization of Pokémon mobile/console games. This role involves working with stakeholders in Japan, the US, and Europe to ensure timely and high-quality localization.

The Associate Project Manager will manage coordination, support operational tasks, and maintain relationships with developers and business partners. They will also optimize workflow and ensure clear communication between teams.

What this role involves:

  • Managing coordination throughout the videogame localization process.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of localization deliverables.
  • Supporting operation tasks by communicating with internal and external teams.
  • Managing communications and scheduling of internal teams.
  • Serving as a main contact for localization.
  • Maintaining relationships with developers and business partners.
  • Optimizing and simplifying workflow.

Requirements:

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of project management experience.
  • Experience presenting in both Japanese and English.
  • Native-speaker level in Japanese and fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Video game localization experience (a plus).
  • Mobile App localization experience (a plus).
  • Knowledge of localization issues and cross-cultural awareness.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and organize work effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong team player in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
