Product Manager - Assistant Vice President

Job Description

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join their Data and Analytics team. This role focuses on understanding the US wealth management and asset management industry, and how iCapital's technology scales the distribution of alternative products, leveraging a central source of alternative products data. The Product Manager will work directly with internal and external clients to solve complex industry-wide problems across various alternative investment products.Responsibilities include:

• Understanding customer needs through client feedback analysis.
• Collaborating with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to deploy integrated technology solutions.
• Creating data models for a central fund data repository.
• Developing APIs for internal and external distribution of alternative data.
• Presenting updates to the Executive Management team.
• Driving product adoption by meeting user needs.
• Working with Sales, UX Design, and Engineering to write user stories and requirements.
• Managing technical considerations and working with Engineering to solve complex problems.
• Operating within an agile development framework.

Qualifications include:

• 6+ years of professional work experience.
• Experience working with external and internal stakeholders.
• Previous experience in financial services or fintech, working with large data sets (SQL preferred).
• Experience with APIs and Kafka (preferred).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced growth company.
