Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Technical Advisor in Jeddah to lead the future of luxury electric vehicles. This role involves investigating technical problems and assisting the Service Center in repairs, utilizing the diagnostic center to solve complex issues. The Technical Advisor will play a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of Lucid Motors.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze technical reports from Service Centers and prepare field technical reports for Technical Service Operations & Warranty Administration.
- Investigate technical problems, assist Service Centers with repairs, and inspect customer vehicles to verify issues and supervise repairs.
- Submit market product reports reflecting customer requirements and competitor comparisons.
- Guide Service Centers in solving technical problems using information from TSO&WA and other Service Centers.
- Participate in local and regional new model conformity test drives, report results, and follow up on improvements.
- Conduct on-the-job training for service staff on new mechanisms and technical problem-solving.
- Identify top technical problems based on reports and warranty claims, and check and sign warranty claims.
- Follow up on and evaluate test parts results, submitting technical reports to management.
- Monitor Service Centers in technical reporting, warranty business, parts storage, and new vehicle storage.
Requirements:
- Automotive Engineering knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an associate's degree in an automotive-related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the Automotive Industry (e.g., problem-solving and repair).
- Computer skills/data analysis.
- Customer handling skills.
- Familiarity with technical report and market product report writing.
- Familiarity with new vehicle testing and evaluation.
