QA Engineer (UK/ Europe Timezone)

Job Description

Goodnotes is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to champion quality within a cross-functional product team. The ideal candidate will enhance the UI automation test suite, collaborate on quality assurance processes, and ensure the testability of new features. This role involves managing manual QA contractors, executing test cases, and assisting the Customer Support team with complex issues. Responsibilities include:

• Being the voice of Quality as part of a Cross-Functional Product team
• Managing manual QA contractors delivery
• Enhancing and expanding our UI automation test suite to improve coverage
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and implement quality assurance processes and activities
• Working closely with our product and engineering team to anticipate new features and ensure their testability
• Managing and executing test cases (both manual and automated) to ensure all shipped features/updates are meeting our quality bar
• Assisting Customer Support team in debugging/reproduce complex issues reported by users
• Analysing and managing bugs tickets

Requirements include:

• Experience implementing best practices and tools for software QA
• Active contribution to UI automation
• Experience mentoring less experienced team members or contractors
• Extensive hands-on experience with manual testing and planning on multiple platforms (e.g., iOS, Mac, Android, Windows)
• Experience in designing and executing all quality assurance processes for a new product from ideation to production
• Attention to detail
