Inbank is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Lithuania. The candidate will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and communication with tax authorities. They will also participate in group improvement projects, assist external auditors, and review payroll accounting. Inbank prides itself in innovation and growth, with over 420 people working across offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting
- Taking care of declarations and tax payments
- Representing Inbank in communication with Tax Authorities
- Participating in the group improvement projects of accounting systems and financial processes
- Being a partner for the external financial auditors to provide data and explanations
- Reviewing payroll accounting prepared by the outsourced service provider
- Performing day-to-day accounting activities following relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Requirements:
- Previous working experience as an Accountant for at least 3-5 years
- Experience handling all aspects of an entity's accounting process
- Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting and tax laws
- Proven organisational and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and think critically
- Strong sense of attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Lithuanian and English
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office with expertise in Excel
- Knowledge of the Accounting program Business Central is a bonus
