Job Description

Capco, a Wipro company, is seeking a Java APIGEE Developer for their Bangalore location. The candidate will work on engaging projects with international and local banks, insurance companies, and payment service providers, contributing to the transformation of the financial services industry. Role Involves:

  • Working closely with business units, application teams, infrastructure areas, and vendors to identify, review, and evaluate solution requirements.
  • Investigating and proposing strategic fits for virtualization, consolidation, and rationalization solution opportunities.
  • Proposing changes to technical design solutions.
  • Evaluating and aligning strategic fit solutions across platforms and solutions specific to system hardware and software technologies.
  • Understanding, participating in, reviewing, and influencing long-term capacity planning and technology investments.
  • Designing, building, and managing APIs using the Apigee platform.
  • Creating API proxies and implementing security policies.
  • Integrating with backend systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient Angular and Frontend Development skills.
  • Experience in Core Java, SpringBoot, MicroServices, REST API, and AWS.
  • AWS infrastructure experience.
  • Strong understanding of Core Java (up to version 21).
  • Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and microservices architecture.
  • Expertise in building scalable microservices with service discovery (Eureka), API Gateway (Spring Cloud Gateway), and configuration management (Spring Cloud Config).
  • Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) with Hibernate/JPA for ORM.
  • Experience in developing secure REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and using message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, and performance tuning.
