Engineering Manager (Finance & Reporting) at Inbank

Inbank is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their Finance & Reporting Tribe. The Engineering Manager will lead a team of skilled engineers to build scalable, data-driven financial systems. They will collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to drive the technical strategy and execution of the systems. This role requires strong technical and product-thinking skills.

Role involves:

• Coaching and mentoring Tech Leads.
• Helping build teams and ensuring balance between tech and product investment.
• Leading a culture of technical excellence and sharing knowledge.
• Driving initiatives and projects from the tech side.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Keen interest in internal product development.
• Leadership and team-building experience, including hiring.
• Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
• Appreciation for efficient development processes (documentation, planning, test automation).
• Back-end development experience, ideally with Java.
• Understanding of balance sheets, income statements, debit, and credit.
• Experience with complex systems requiring input from various sources
