Senior Android Developer

Job Description

Kunai is seeking a Senior Android Developer to spearhead the development of Android features, leveraging Jetpack Compose and reactive programming. The ideal candidate will partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners/Analysts to craft high-performing customer experiences. This role involves actively engaging in agile ceremonies, advocating for the mobile platform, and continuously expanding expertise in mobile development technologies like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The Senior Android Developer will also mentor junior team members, collaborate with developers across disciplines, and drive the adoption of best practices.Role involves:

• Developing Android features using Jetpack Compose and reactive programming.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create engaging customer experiences.
• Participating in agile ceremonies and ensuring timely delivery of commitments.
• Advocating for the mobile platform and fostering knowledge sharing.
• Mentoring junior team members and driving process improvements.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience building Android applications.
• At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin.
