Job Description
Tenstorrent is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to collaborate with the sales team and customers, leveraging their AI technical knowledge to drive product adoption. This hybrid role, based out of Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX; Boston, MA; or Toronto, ON, requires excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.Role involves:
  • Partnering with the sales team to understand customer needs and tailor solutions.
  • Engaging directly with customers in meetings, presentations, and workshops.
  • Providing technical guidance and support during the sales cycle.
  • Assisting customers in defining and designing AI-driven solutions.
  • Preparing technical documentation, including solution architectures and technical proposals.
  • Collaborating with customer success engineering, sales operations, and product teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant technical, customer-facing experience (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Account Manager).
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python.
  • Proven expertise in AI technologies (machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and/or computer vision).
  • Understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, with expertise in Generative AI and LLM applications preferred.
  • Experience selling AI and/or general-purpose compute Hardware or Silicon IP.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Passion for innovation and a proactive attitude towards learning.
