Technical Support Consultant

Job Description

• Providing software application support to hospital IT staff via remote administration technologies.
• Interacting with International customers to help troubleshoot and resolve highly complex software problems.
• Tracking and documenting inbound requests and ensure proper case documentation following standard operating procedures and meeting SLAs.
• Educating clients on application functionality.
• Explaining software errors and convey feedback to product development staff.
• Participating in after-hours and on-call support on weekends.

• Strong desire and determination to resolve complex issues.
• Solid analytical, research, and trouble-shooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication (in English) and interpersonal skills.
• Exposure to interaction with international clients.
• Understanding and recognizing the impact of the issues in relation to patient safety.
• Organized and attention to detail.
• Self-driven, and a fast learner for a fast-paced environment.
• 4-7 years of experience with a demonstrated competence in functional or technical troubleshooting in a client-facing role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT, or health care related field.
• In-depth understanding on SQL skills.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server concepts, Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Able and willing to work in 24*7 shifts, on call rotations for evenings/weekends/holidays
