Moniepoint is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee the loan portfolio and lead a team of Field Credit Officers in Adamawa, Nigeria. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for setting performance targets, managing credit risk, and driving business growth. They will collaborate with other departments to ensure successful loan disbursement and repayment.Role involves:
- Supervising and mentoring Field Credit Officers
- Developing and implementing strategies to grow the loan portfolio
- Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying potential risks
- Ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures
- Preparing and presenting portfolio performance reports
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 4-5 years of experience in lending, credit, or portfolio management
- 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in credit risk analysis and financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector
- Proven track record in managing and growing a loan portfolio
- Must be resident in Adamawa state
