Job Description
Via, a company transforming transportation through technology, is seeking a Driver Operations Specialist in Tacoma, WA. This role acts as a crucial link between Via and its driver partners, ensuring a seamless experience. The Driver Operations Specialist embodies Via's brand, advocating for drivers and communicating their needs to the broader Via team. This is an in-person position requiring field work 3 days a week.

What this role involves:
  • Serving as the front line, communicating with driver partners to improve their first experience with Via or manage their accounts
  • Excelling in a fast-paced environment, addressing various customer issues
  • Becoming an expert on Via's services and promoting them enthusiastically
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to driver partners, seeking innovative ways to enhance their satisfaction
  • Identifying trends and pain points, brainstorming solutions to improve customer experience
  • Coordinating with management to relay customer feedback to technology, marketing, design, and product teams
  • Learning Via's tools and products thoroughly while supporting other teams

Requirements:
  • Clear communication skills with excellent reading comprehension and writing abilities
  • Proficiency in computer and technical skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, and CRM tools like Salesforce (a plus)
  • Strong listening and conversational skills
  • A collaborative team player who takes ownership and pride in their work
  • A strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Adaptability to wear multiple hats and work on diverse projects
  • Initiative to solve problems and complete tasks effectively
  • Located in the Tacoma or Greater Seattle area

  • Availability to work 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST, including weekends
