Lush North America is seeking a Manager in Training for their Bay Plaza location in Bronx, New York. This role is a second-in-command position, supporting the Store Manager in ensuring a strong customer experience, staff experience, shop operational excellence, and exceeding sales goals. Role Involves:
- Collaborating with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique and inclusive customer experience.
- Educating customers and staff on brand values.
- Demonstrating strong business acumen and understanding of metrics, budgets, and reports.
- Supporting staff recruitment, hiring, and succession planning.
- Collaborating with the Manager on plans to improve staff engagement, retention, performance, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging practices.
- Ensuring compliance with company standards for opening and closing, product integrity, and health and safety.
- Supporting inventory management and visual merchandising standards.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of managing or supervising in a retail environment.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
- Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
