Job Description
Vonage is seeking a Senior Carrier Operations Analyst to join their team and contribute to the innovation of cloud communications for businesses globally. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance across voice, messaging, and number registration. The Senior Carrier Operations Analyst will work closely with team members, taking ownership of compliance obligations and managing engagements with regulatory bodies and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).
Responsibilities: - Direct engagement with MNOs and regulators for compliance submissions and inquiries.
- Drive registration with regulatory authorities and certification bodies across multiple markets.
- Maintain and administer regulatory accounts/portals.
- Respond to operational compliance requests from Sales and Carrier Relations.
- Prepare and submit ongoing reports.
- Maintain and audit compliance documentation repositories.
- Monitor ticket queues for incoming compliance tasks and triage/escalate accordingly.
- Track recurring regulatory activities and escalate trends or market risks to Product and Leadership.
- Coordinate registration of new numbers or sender IDs in carrier-specific portals.
- Stay on top of STIR/SHAKEN, CLI authentication, SID protection rules and fraud regulation updates.
- Identify risks or inefficiencies in operational workflows and recommend remediation.
Requirements: - 5+ years experience in telecom operations, number management or carrier relations.
- Deep understanding of KYC/KYB, regulatory registration and telecom compliance protocols.
- Experience with RCS, short codes, TFNs and global messaging/voice markets.
- Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., OFCOM, ACMA, JUSA, etc.).
- Strong documentation and portal management skills.
- Experience in ticketing systems (JIRA) and collaboration tools (Confluence, Slack, etc.).
- Comfortable working across cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.
