Moniepoint, a leading African financial ecosystem, is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Katsina, Nigeria. This role involves overseeing the loan portfolio and leading a team of Field Credit Officers, ensuring effective credit risk management and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor Field Credit Officers.
  • Develop strategies to grow a profitable loan portfolio.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risks.
  • Ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures.
  • Review and approve loan applications.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare portfolio performance reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop relationships with business clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in lending, credit, or portfolio management.
  • 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in credit risk and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
  • Proven track record in managing a loan portfolio.
  • Must be resident in Katsina State.
