Shipper Packer Second Shift (Job 2024-6)

Job Description

DLH Corporation is seeking Warehouse Production Shipper/Packer candidates to pack and ship medical prescriptions for veterans. This is a full-time, second-shift position located in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves working in a secured federal building and requires passing a federal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities include:

• Scanning prescription barcodes.
• Placing prescriptions into mailing envelopes or boxes.
• Adding patient refill documents and return address labels.
• Adding packing material to protect contents.
• Closing and sealing containers.
• Placing address labels on packages.
• Maintaining stock and a clean work area.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year work experience.
• Previous experience in packing, production, or assembly line is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship or proof of legal residency.
• Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, and stoop.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to understand and meet safety standards.
• Must be able to pass a Federal background check.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
