Job Description
GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Sr. Director of Customer Success to lead its Public Sector organization. This role involves overseeing Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, Renewals Managers, Support Engineers, and Professional Services. The Sr. Director will set the vision and strategic plan for the Customer Success organization, driving positive customer outcomes, growth, and expanded product adoption.Responsibilities include:
  • Recruiting and developing a high-performing team
  • Fostering collaboration across customer stakeholders
  • Managing executive relationships with customers
  • Representing Public Sector customer success teams
  • Working closely with Sales management
  • Owning responsibility for PubSec security oriented programs
Requirements include:
  • Progressive experience leading customer success managers, account management, and/or sales teams (30+ people)
  • Experience leading managers of customer success teams in a SaaS or subscription enterprise software company
  • Ability to manage global, distributed teams
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • US-based, preferably in the Washington, DC area
