Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Vehicle Integration Technician to join their Electron team in Auckland, New Zealand. This role involves installing mechanical and avionic components, wiring harnesses, and high voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle. The technician will work hands-on with tools and equipment to build, launch, and test Rocket Lab's launch vehicles and components, contributing to the overall production and launch schedule. Day and night shifts are available, and relocation assistance is provided if required.Role involves:
- Installing mechanical and avionic components
- Working with wiring harnesses

Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Precision avionic and/or mechanical assembly skills
- Comfort working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service
- Good eyesight for inspecting assemblies
- Ability to manufacture components to a high workmanship standard
- Understanding of standard industry ESD policy (preferred)
- Trade qualification in a relevant industry (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (preferred)
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously (preferred)
- Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings (preferred)
- High work ethic and initiative (preferred)
- Ability to work long hours if required (preferred)
- Computer literacy (preferred)
