Manufacturing Site Leader

Job Description

Astera Labs is seeking a Manufacturing Site Leader to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing projects in Bangkok, Thailand. This role involves ensuring production processes run smoothly, meet quality standards, and are completed on time and within budget, from NPI to mass production phases. The Manufacturing Site Leader will collaborate closely with designers, the manufacturing team, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed project plans.
• Coordinate production activities and monitor progress.
• Address and resolve issues during manufacturing.
• Drive Engineering Change Order and Deviation processes.
• Utilize Product Lifecycle Management systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures.
• Work with the supply chain team for timely delivery of materials.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Prepare project reports and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, manufacturing, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and project management skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.
• Understanding of supply chain management.
• Advanced English skills.
