VP, Operational Strategy

Job Description

Precision for Medicine is seeking a Vice President of Operational Strategy to manage the expert team within the Operational Strategy Department. The VP will provide oversight and management to the department and drive the quality of deliverables. This team member will lead specific projects to maintain Precision for Medicine's competitive edge. Role involves:

• Managing capacity planning for the Operational Department.
• Developing processes and tools for consistent, high-quality deliverables.
• Overseeing department metrics and ensuring constant process improvement.
• Training, mentoring, and acting as an escalation point for colleagues.
• Ensuring close communication with stakeholders for smooth delivery of proposals.
• Coordinating input into marketing materials and representing Precision at conferences.
• Overseeing focus areas within Operational Strategy, including Feasibility and Precision Site Network.
• Providing operational strategy input and budget review for proposals.
• Representing Precision for Medicine in client meetings.
• Line managing members of the operational strategy group.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in life sciences or equivalent experience.
• 20+ years in the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in hematology/oncology, rare disease, CNS, or Precision's target therapeutic areas.
• Strong management, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to develop and review study budgets.
• Active listening and strong presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and collaboration skills.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office and web-based platforms.
