Moniepoint is seeking a Field Credit Officer for a contract position in Dutsinma, Katsina State, Nigeria. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring timely loan repayments. The Field Credit Officer plays a vital role in assessing businesses during credit application and monitoring their performance. He is responsible for deductions from information sources pertaining to the 5Cs of credit, making recommendations to management, and considering economic factors.Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard viable businesses.
- Engage customers to ensure optimal usage of accounts.
- Review and approve (or decline) loan requests.
- Visit potential borrowers’ business places for evaluation.
- Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets.
- Monitor active loan portfolio.
- Perform other credit-related functions.
- A minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
- A good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage.
- Must be resident in Dutsinma, Katsina.
