Accounting Manager

Job Description

Blockchain.com is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee its offshore accounting function and support the global finance team. This role is based in Buenos Aires and involves managing a local accounting team of up to 8 individuals, focusing on intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and fixed asset management. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with global finance teams, primarily in the UK, US, Argentina, and Singapore, to ensure compliance with accounting standards and streamline financial operations.Responsibilities:

• Coach and lead a team
• Record intercompany transactions
• Perform reconciliations
• Collaborate on process standardization
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards
• Leverage financial systems to drive efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6-8 years of relevant experience
• Qualified Accountant / CPA
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting and consolidation concepts
• Familiarity with reconciliation processes
• Experience in finance transformation, process automation, or ERP implementation is a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
