Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses to access credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring timely loan repayment.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and onboarding viable businesses.
  • Engaging customers to ensure optimal account usage for credit qualification.
  • Reviewing and approving or declining loan requests.
  • Conducting physical visits to evaluate businesses.
  • Meeting gross loan portfolio and profit targets.
  • Monitoring active loan portfolios.
  • Performing other credit-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • Must be resident in Lagos
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis (added advantage).
  • Apt attention to detail
  • Proven simple/complex analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Agility and perseverance
