Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses to access credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring timely loan repayment.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and onboarding viable businesses.
- Engaging customers to ensure optimal account usage for credit qualification.
- Reviewing and approving or declining loan requests.
- Conducting physical visits to evaluate businesses.
- Meeting gross loan portfolio and profit targets.
- Monitoring active loan portfolios.
- Performing other credit-related tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
- Must be resident in Lagos
- Good knowledge of financial analysis (added advantage).
- Apt attention to detail
- Proven simple/complex analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Agility and perseverance
