Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a System Architect to join their PlayStation team in Tokyo. This role focuses on cutting-edge research and development to drive innovation in future PlayStation architectures. The System Architect will be integral in hardware and software integration, conducting technical analysis through research and Proof of Concepts, proposing new architectures based on product requirements, and collaborating with internal and external partners to advance projects.

• Integrating and optimizing hardware and software
• Researching cutting-edge technologies and conducting Proof of Concepts
• Proposing new architectures based on product requirements
• Collaborating with other departments and external partners

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in C or C++ programming
• Practical experience or deep understanding of modern computer architectures
• Business-level Japanese language skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
