Job Description
Anthropic is seeking a Data Scientist to join their T&S Data Science and Analytics team. This role is crucial in building safe and beneficial artificial intelligence by establishing a data-driven culture. The Data Scientist will collaborate with product, engineering, policy, and enforcement teams to define key success metrics, analyze user behavior, and develop hypotheses through experimentation.
Responsibilities:
- Deep dive into user behavior data to provide insights on safety concerns
- Define core metrics that measure the team's success
- Identify and size opportunities to improve the product
- Develop hypotheses on product changes, design controlled experiments, analyze the results, and make recommendations
- Build a data driven culture from the ground up
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles
- 5+ years of experience deeply embedding in Product teams
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
- A bias for action and urgency
- A strong disposition to thrive in ambiguity
- Highly effective written communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
