Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

Zscaler is seeking a talented Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join their growing ML/AI team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of ML pipelines, optimizing existing data connectors, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role based in San Jose, CA, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

Role involves:

• Leading the design and development of ML pipelines and cybersecurity applications.
• Optimizing existing data connectors and machine learning pipelines.
• Experimenting with advanced machine learning platforms and architectures.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
• Staying updated on the latest advancements in machine learning.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Experience in data modeling, feature engineering, model development, and error analysis.
• Familiarity with public cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as (Py)Spark.
• Experience creating and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
