Mobile Architect

Job Description

Moniepoint GB is seeking a Mobile Architect to play a critical role in shaping the architecture and design of its mobile applications. The Mobile Architect will lead the technical vision for Moniepoint's mobile platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across iOS and Android devices. Additionally, he/she will participate in product planning, providing technical expertise and insights to drive innovation and achieve business goals.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with proven experience in mobile development, architecture, and system design. What this role involves:

• Translating product requirements into architectural documents and diagrams
• Maintaining architectural documents and ensure they are always updated
• Making architectural decisions with respect to any feature
• Ensuring that the architectural direction of an application is in line with the strategic direction of the product
• Performing code reviews and ensures efficient code engineering
• Ensuring applications are implemented using software engineering best practices
• Being responsible for the stability and reliability of products
• Creating and enforcing processes that improve developer efficiency and productivity
• Participating in the screening of engineers for hire
• Providing mentorship to young engineers

Requirements:

• At least 5 years proven experience in system design, architect, and development
• Experience with native mobile development using Flutter/Dart, Android/Java and iOS/Swift
• Experience in software development and coding in Java Programming Language
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• High quality organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
