Job Description
IONOS, a leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, is seeking a Global Head of Media to lead its media team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about media, skilled in connecting channels, and experienced in optimizing both classic and digital media portfolios. This role requires a communicative team player with leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Global Head of Media will be responsible for managing a team of ten media strategists and online/offline marketing experts.
Role Involves:
- Leading a team of ten media strategists and marketing experts.
- Managing a brand budget exceeding €60 million annually.
- Planning, controlling, and optimizing the allocation of the brand budget.
- Developing programmatic display strategies.
- Managing media platforms like Google Ads and DV360.
- Serving as a central point of contact for brand, performance marketing, and product teams.
- Optimizing tracking and attribution setups.
- Negotiating with marketers and managing external media agencies.
- Improving processes through standardization and automation.
- Reporting directly to the board on brand flights, budget scenarios, and forecasts.
Requirements:
- A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least ten years of experience in media, with a focus on online marketing and programmatic advertising.
- A proven track record in managing and optimizing significant media budgets.
- Expertise in DV360, CM360, and other DSPs/Ad Servers.
- Fluency in German and English.
