Job Description
Vultr is seeking a Junior Linux System Administrator to join their System Administration team. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational stability and supporting the growth of Vultr's platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues, implement solutions, and ensure the smooth functioning of the platform.
Role involves:
- Answering inquiries and educating customers about products and services.
- Responding to platform level alerts and issues.
- Identifying causes and implementing solutions.
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve platform problems.
- Resolving customer complaints.
- Maintaining customer platform infrastructure.
- Dedicated weekly training.
- 24/7 team operations (shift placement at company discretion).
Requirements:
- Experience with Linux Command line.
- Basic knowledge of enterprise networking.
- Ability to interact with customers professionally.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to learn and a desire to grow.
