Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Product Designer to join their team in Newmarket, Auckland. The Product Designer will be responsible for delivering clear design documentation, refining and enhancing Lightspeed’s design, and growing their skills alongside Senior Product Designers. They will engage with retailers through interviews and user testing, contribute to broader team objectives, and continuously challenge themselves to learn and improve.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent visual design and interaction skills and is a proactive problem-solver driven by delivering real value to customers.

What this role involves:

  • Creating production deliverables that clearly communicate design solutions.
  • Continuously refining and enhancing design details.
  • Collaborating with Senior Product Designers to develop skills.

Requirements:

  • A background in design-thinking or a related field.
  • Previous experience designing products or collaborating with web development teams.
  • Familiarity with visual design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience with or knowledge of prototyping tools or front-end technologies.
