Sales Development Representative, Japan at Notion

Notion is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join its sales team in Tokyo, Japan. The company aims to make software customizable for everyone and has a diverse customer base.

As an early member of the team, the Sales Development Representative will help define the sales process and shape the product's future.

What this role involves:

• Handling inbound requests from potential customers.
• Qualifying prospects and identifying good fits for Notion.
• Prospecting and developing new accounts by educating contacts about Notion's benefits.
• Experimenting with outbound strategies to generate Enterprise opportunities.
• Reaching out to prospects via various channels to educate them about Notion.
• Holding meetings with prospective customers to understand their challenges and goals.
• Helping build playbooks and define the sales motion.
• Taking ownership of pipeline generation tactics and strategic approaches.
• Providing product demos tailored to different personas.
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive performance initiatives.
• Working with the marketing team to build program feedback loops.
• Working with the GTM team to hit revenue and pipeline generation targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or sales development in SaaS tech or a high-growth environment.
• Experience making cold calls to decision-makers.
• A track record of high achievement in previous roles.
• Customer skills.
• Fluency in Japanese and business-level English.
