Manager - SRE

Job Description

Zenoti is seeking a Manager - SRE to lead its infrastructure team and build world-class infrastructure for the Zenoti product. The ideal candidate will be a great manager, team builder, recruiter, communicator, and issue resolver, ensuring the team's success and process transparency.Zenoti is a cloud-based software solution for the beauty and wellness industry, empowering businesses to manage various aspects such as online bookings, POS, CRM, and more.Responsibilities:

• Manage the technical and architectural evolution of Zenoti's customer onboarding infrastructure and user experience.
• Manage execution of building the product, releasing it to customers, and managing the service in the cloud.
• Build solutions that run at optimal costs.
• Build a strong engineering team to execute on the infrastructure roadmap.
• Recognize and reward employees to ensure they are unblocked to deliver on the roadmap.
• Ensure all engineering projects and initiatives are completed efficiently.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to infrastructure development and deployment.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in software development in product companies.
• 7+ years of recent experience in building reliable, available, scalable, and performant infrastructure components in SaaS web applications.
• Deep understanding of design principles and design patterns in building SaaS applications to work with data and processing data at scale.
• Willingness to be hands-on with coding, design, and architecture.
• Forward-thinking and ability to develop a long-term strategy for infrastructure development aligned with business goals.
• Keen business sense and demonstrated ability to partner to work with multiple stakeholders and deliver business results.
• Experience managing an engineering team through multiple release cycles.
• Understanding of financial management in the context of FinOps to optimize costs and resource allocation.
• Deeper understanding of AWS solution architecture.
• A significant part of work done on the Microsoft stack.
• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple disciplines and functions.
• Strong customer empathy and ability to handle customers sensitively in escalated situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, start-up environment.
