Job Description
OKX is seeking an Engineering Director - Compliance AML Team Lead to provide technical leadership for its AML systems. The Compliance team ensures OKX operates ethically and in accordance with regulations. This role involves leading a technical team, developing technical roadmaps, and collaborating with product and compliance teams. The ideal candidate will drive R&D in AML technologies and ensure technical solutions align with regulatory requirements.

What this role involves:
  • Leading a technical team of 10+ members for AML systems.
  • Developing technical roadmaps for TMS/CMS development.
  • Collaborating with product and compliance teams to establish data-driven compliance objectives.
  • Driving R&D in cutting-edge AML technologies.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in AML or risk management, with a track record of building AML systems from scratch.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain and crypto risks.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years focused on AML system development.
  • Proficient in Java and JVM optimization.
  • Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem, database optimization, and middleware.
  • Familiarity with big data tools and rule engines.
  • Strategic thinking and compliance advocacy.
  • Strong communication skills.
