Job Description
Thoropass is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their expanding Product team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in creating a best-in-class tool for security compliance management. This role involves owning and managing product development from inception to launch, ensuring a user-centered approach and significant business impact.
What This Role Involves:
- Conceptualizing new features and enhancements based on requirements gathering.
- Driving feature completion in bi-weekly sprints.
- Acting as a bridge between Design and Engineering teams.
- Helping develop quarterly product roadmaps.
- Managing feature releases and stakeholder communication.
- Managing dependencies and prioritizing the team’s backlog.
- Creating and launching market-leading product offerings.
- Analyzing and dispersing product analytics/insights.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in product management or a comparable discipline.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in complete software development life cycle duties.
- Experience with Agile development and methodologies.
- Experience shipping digital products.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and ProductBoard.
- Expertise with Heap, Segment, or similar Product Analytics tools.
- Software engineering background or experience working closely with software engineering teams.
- Collaborative with a team-first attitude.
- Passion for technology and building a best-in-class digital experience.
- Firm grasp of technology architecture.
- Ability to empathize with the customer and prioritize high-impact features.
- Organized, self-directed, and efficient.
- Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator.
- Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams.
