Thumbtack is seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager to join their Business Development & Commercial Programs organization. This role is ideal for a high-impact generalist who can lead strategic initiatives, unblock growth opportunities, and drive operational excellence. The Commercial Strategy Manager will work closely with executives and cross-functional teams to support critical projects and improve processes.
Role involves:
- Identifying and prioritizing impactful initiatives.
- Partnering with teams to develop and operationalize strategies.
- Supporting critical projects from start to finish.
- Enabling process improvements for operational rigor.
- Developing and testing new ideas.
- Performing financial analyses.
- Aligning stakeholders and driving progress.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years in consulting, investment banking, bizops, strategy, or GTM roles.
- Ability to build analytical models and translate them into insights.
- Comfort with ambiguity and building frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
