Thumbtack is seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager to join their Business Development & Commercial Programs organization. This role is ideal for a high-impact generalist who can lead strategic initiatives, unblock growth opportunities, and drive operational excellence. The Commercial Strategy Manager will work closely with executives and cross-functional teams to support critical projects and improve processes.

Role involves:
  • Identifying and prioritizing impactful initiatives.
  • Partnering with teams to develop and operationalize strategies.
  • Supporting critical projects from start to finish.
  • Enabling process improvements for operational rigor.
  • Developing and testing new ideas.
  • Performing financial analyses.
  • Aligning stakeholders and driving progress.

Requirements:
  • 3–5 years in consulting, investment banking, bizops, strategy, or GTM roles.
  • Ability to build analytical models and translate them into insights.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
