Thumbtack is seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager to join their Business Development & Commercial Programs organization. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, fostering growth, and ensuring operational efficiency within the company. The Commercial Strategy Manager will work on high-impact projects, partnering with various teams to identify opportunities and implement effective strategies.
Responsibilities: - Identify and prioritize initiatives to support company objectives.
- Partner with teams to develop and operationalize strategies.
- Support critical projects from inception to completion.
- Enable process improvements for operational rigor.
- Develop and test new product and business ideas.
- Perform financial analyses to inform strategy and planning.
- Align stakeholders and drive progress across teams.
Requirements: - 3–5 years in consulting, investment banking, bizops, strategy, or GTM roles.
- Ability to build analytical models and translate them into insights.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
