Thumbtack is seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager to join their Business Development & Commercial Programs organization. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, fostering growth, and ensuring operational efficiency within the company. The Commercial Strategy Manager will work on high-impact projects, partnering with various teams to identify opportunities and implement effective strategies.Responsibilities:
  • Identify and prioritize initiatives to support company objectives.
  • Partner with teams to develop and operationalize strategies.
  • Support critical projects from inception to completion.
  • Enable process improvements for operational rigor.
  • Develop and test new product and business ideas.
  • Perform financial analyses to inform strategy and planning.
  • Align stakeholders and drive progress across teams.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years in consulting, investment banking, bizops, strategy, or GTM roles.
  • Ability to build analytical models and translate them into insights.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
