Job Description
Forter is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team. This role is crucial for achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Sales Development Representative will report to the Director of Sales Development.
What this role involves:
- Source highly-qualified opportunities for Account Executives.
- Strategize cross-functionally with sales, channel, and marketing on prospecting plans.
- Research accounts, identify key players, and uncover business problems.
- Deliver compelling messages to generate interest.
- Conduct initial discovery conversations with Finance, eCommerce, and Payments Executives.
- Understand customer needs and effectively articulate how Forter can partner to solve them.
- Provide insight into an organization's structure and identify decision-makers.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 6-12 months of previous business experience highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid technical aptitude and genuine interest in tech and e-commerce solutions.
- Ability to navigate systems and tools and follow processes.
- Highly-motivated and driven individual who thrives working toward monthly and quarterly quotas.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup is a plus.
- Previous experience with sales and prospecting tools (Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus.
